Nail care and nail art is increasingly trending with each passing day. Every second individual craves for perfectly manicured nails to look prim and perfect. Though they are all just minute dead cells in our body, when taken proper care and designed perfectly, one can look overtly beautiful and poised.
Growing the perfect, strong fingernails is possible but it is a process which might take few months time with prolonged patience. Following are some ways to get healthier shining nails-
Remove the already existing nail polish
If your nails have started disrupting, you might need to go through a healthy, nail repair for a few months before they approached to the original ones. This is intimidated by taking off your nail polish and leaving it until the repair is done.
File them correctly
File your nails regularly so that they grow healthy and strong. Filing can also help your nails look perfectly shaped and well maintained.
Soak them in Gelatine
Soaking the fingertips in warm water with gelatine helps make them stronger and shiny looking.
No cutting off the cuticles
The cuticles can be pushed back and one can go over them quickly with the soft side of a nail filer if they are overgrown. But cutting it off is not admissible.
Mix garlic in your base coat
Adding crushed garlic to the base coat can help strengthen the nails. It is admissible to be _______.
Wear Gloves
Soon after a proper manicure or even while staying in an unclear environment, wear gloves. Every time you wash dishes or do household tasks you should wear gloves which will protect your nails.
There are also several ways by which you can make your nail appear longer.
Always use a mild and soft soap for your hands. Using a harsh one may make it brittle.
Rub and pat your hands properly using a towel.
Pour some white vinegar in a plastic bowl and dip the fingertips or your nails in it.
Wash your hands perfectly with a soft or mild soap for removing the bacteria as well as the smell.
Most people face problems related to frequently breaking of nails and dull looking nails, but there is a remedy for all.
The lack of nutrients and constantly working with soaps can leave the nails brittle and can also make them yellow in colour. The most effective ways to rejuvenate the nails is to use a mixture of almond oil and lemon. Take a spoon full of almond oil and add the juice of half a lemon to it. Now massage this mixture into your nails and cuticles. Leave it overnight.
There is a common problem which most people face is of inner growth of toe nail. Apart from this, the nail fungus is probably the most disagreeable nail problem. Whenever this problem occurs, usually on a toenail – the nail turns thick, discoloured and crumbly. Others include brittle nails, which can get a grip around the base of the nail after the _______ is removed.
Usually for parties and occasions, people use fake nails which should be strictly restricted. Fake nails causes irritation in the finger making it brittle and crumbly. Most people face problems with weak, soft, brittle nails is because of their use of artificial items or artificial stick-on nails. As these artificial nails are glued on the top of our nails which in due time causes harm to our nail bed as it creates fungus at the bottom of the artificial nail.
Moisturise and protect your nails from becoming dry. Also you can rub petroleum jelly or thick cream into your nails. If this is done during bedtime, a pair of thin cotton gloves will protect it while you are sleep.
THE DO’S AND THE DON’TS OF FINGERNAIL CARE.
Fingernail should be kept dry and clean. It prevents bacteria from growing under your fingernails. Repeated or prolonged contact with water can contribute to split fingernails.
Practice good nail hygiene. Use a sharp manicure scissors or clippers.
Use a good moisturiser. When you use the moisturiser, don’t forget to rub it in your fingernails and cuticles too.
Do shape your nails with a fine–grit cushion file. Coarse grit files are designed for use on artificial nails and are too harsh for natural nails.
Don’t saw your nails back and forth with a nail file; it can weaken the nail’s free edge. Instead, file nails from the corners towards the centre in one direction.
Don’t bite your nails or use them as tools. Both of these activities will obviously weaken or break nails. If you get a deep nail tear, mend it temporarily with a clean adhesive tape until it has a chance to grow out.
A little care and concern can help you look beautiful and confident.
