Obviously street food does!

The reason being it is tasty, pocket friendly, easily available and healthy? ummm...you decide.

Mumbai street food is the food sold by hawkers from portable stalls in Mumbai. It is one of the main characteristics of the city. The city is known for its distinctive street food.

Vada Pav is noted as the most popular street food in Mumbai. Other noted street food in Mumbai includes Panipuri, Sevpuri, idlis, dosas, dabeli, paneer tikka, star fruit, masala peanuts and chana.

The first thing that comes to your mind when you want something cool and refreshing is Gola.

The street food in Mumbai also offers non-vegetarian food such as kebabs and momos.

Although street food is common around the country, the street food in Mumbai is noted because people from all classes eat on the roadside.

It is sometimes felt that the streets’ eateries are much better than the best restaurants of the city.
