Fitness is the mains essence for a healthy life. “He who is fit has hope and he who has hope has everything”. A healthy and fit mind attains more work than usual. Physical fitness is one of the keys to success.

Music and dance are the prime sources of staying fit, feeling lively and happy. A happy soul gives rise to the increment of fast working space moreover, qualitative output which is ultimatum of our daily life.

The most widely accepted definition of health is that of the World Health Organization Constitution. It states: "health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity" (World Health Organization, 1946).

In more recent years, this statement has been amplified to include the ability to lead a "socially and economically productive life". The WHO definition is not without criticism; mainly that it is too broad. Some argue that health cannot be defined as a state at all, but must be seen as a dynamic process of continuous adjustment to the changing demands of living. In spite of its limitations, the concept of health as defined by WHO is broad and positive in its implications, in that it sets out a high standard for positive health.

The most solid aspects of wellness that fit firmly in the realm of medicine are the environmental health, nutrition, disease prevention, and public health matters that can be investigated and assist in measuring well-being.

Dancing as an art is the key to Fitness!

Dancing is not only an artistic hobby but an excellent exercise to burn calories and stay fit.

Dancing has always been a means of entertainment, recreation and communication. People who developed a keen interest in dance have dedicated their lives to this performing art. Today, every country has its own unique dance forms that reflect its cultural roots.

But dance can mean a lot more than just showcasing cultural nuances. The different movements and steps bring about so much energy usage that dancing becomes a beneficial exercise that keeps you fit.

Dancing as an exercise

Dancing strengthens muscles. It works out the muscles that we do not even know exist. Dancing is very different from walking on the tread mill or jogging. For example, ballroom dancing works out the lower back, thighs and buttocks, in a very different way, from other exercises. So if you have been wondering how you would lose those extra pounds and get your cellulite-heavy thighs in shape again, then the answer is dancing.

Any form of dancing, whether Indian, Arabian or African has a positive effect on your body. A quick look at some contemporary and popular Latin American dance forms will show you how. You can learn one of them, or may be all, and keep getting better by the day.

Tips for staying fit and healthy:

1. Split up the chores.

Everyday activities (like tidying up the family room) can burn more calories than you’d think. So offer to do the dishes or to mop the floor.

2. Bust a move.

Nothing says family bonding more than a dance party. Gather a group, turn up the tunes, and get the blood flowing. It may help you digest all that stuffing too.

3. Eat in the a.m.

Skipping breakfast in order to “save your appetite” for dinner probably isn’t the best idea. Not breaking the fast ‘til the afternoon may lead to binging later on.

4. Hydrate.

Make sure to drink water throughout the day to stay hydrated. Not drinking enough H2O could spark hunger pangs, which may actually be thirst.

5. Use a smaller plate.

Stick all those Thanksgiving sides on a smaller plate. Research shows it'll help you eat 22 percent fewer calories, while a bigger plate of food may be licked clean, even if we’re not hungry.

6. Dim the lights.

Studies suggest that eating in softer light may lead to consuming less food. So create a nice intimate ambiance that everyone will love.

7. Chew slowly.

How quickly we eat really does matter, research shows. In one study, fast eaters consumed around three ounces of food per minute, while slowpokes only ate about two ounces. Chewing slowly could mean less calories consumed, so take a chill pill when digging into the dinner plate.

8. Beware of danger foods.

Be careful with foods that aren’t as healthy as they seem. Gratins, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce may hide some sneaky ingredients high in fat and sugar.

9. Watch out for liquid calories.

Unfortunately, calories from alcohol can sneak up on us during the holidays. Go easy on the booze and stick to healthier cocktails like a vodka soda or Bloody Mary to avoid excess sugar.

10. Skip the seconds.

Wait 20 minutes before filling up the dinner plate again. Unless you’re really hungry, save some food for leftovers.

11. Don’t deny dessert.

Try desserts. Don't kill your desires! Grab the desserts and slurp it down your system.

12. Happiness

An overdose of family and food can be stressful. Go out. Shop! Eat good food. That's the remedy.

13. Inhale, exhale.

Take six to 10 deep breaths or try these quick, breathing exercises to relax.

14. Meditate.

Meditation can help lower stress levels. All you need is a few minutes and a quiet corner.

15. Get enough sleep.

Make sure to get seven to nine hours of sleep the night before Thanksgiving. Not getting enough sleep could amp up appetite levels the following day.

Well, fitness is also a choice. Research shows most people who are young in their aging 19-early 40s are very keen about their health and fitness. And the rate of awareness for fitness is spinning up the yarn at an unimaginable rate.
